Let's Plan Our Adventure!

​For family sessions, we like to keep things as relaxed as possible so that your personalities can shine through. Jumping and laughing, all cuddled up, playing games - it’s up to you! We’ll plan ahead and work together to create your ideal family portrait, one where everyone is comfortable in front of the camera and having lots of fun.

​Investment / $249 or $498

A $150 session fee is due upon booking. The fee covers time, travel, shooting and editing. The remaining balance would be due on the day of the shoot. You will receive a minimum of your best 25-50 digital images via your personal client portfolio with option to download and print. Choose from two packages, the North Woods package (1-Hour) or the North Star package (2-Hour). All packages are on location. Great for family portraits, family reunion, anniversary or special events. I will come to your home or let’s get creative and find the perfect location that express your families’ character.

Together we will select an outdoor location that will fit both our needs. We always value our client’s wishes on location, so we welcome your request. However, as the artists, we will make the final call to ensure your photos come out beautifully.  Most sessions will be scheduled an hour or two before sunset. This allows us to memorialize your family in the gorgeous, soft glow of the natural evening light.

Relax, enjoy and have fun! This is your day, your precious memory, so let's enjoy it and remember to have FUN! Natural smiles come when everyone is relaxed and enjoying themselves.

Dress for Success!

When planning your outfits for your photo session, remember that solid colors for shirts typically look best. Shirts with large logos should be avoided, along with bold stripes. Color coordination is important as well (if you're looking for ideas for outfit colors, Pinterest is a great place to start!)

Special Items!

You are more than welcome to bring props, blankets, chairs, or sentimental items along! Let's get creative, but often times the most precious moments are caught in that split second when everyone is relaxed and enjoying themselves. So, simply be yourself!

Family Portraits


One of the reasons I love photography so much is because it captures memories and moments. Photographs are my souvenirs and a way of being transported back to a moment no matter where I am in the world. A family photoshoot can be the perfect way to capture your happiest times with the ones you love. Why not take the opportunity to get some photos of your family and friends and treasure the final prints forever.

When you’re in the Park Rapids area, the north woods and lakes provide the best backdrops for your family portraits, couple portraits and vacation portraits.
